The Bed Head TIGI Making Waves beach wave iron is amazing! Definitely my new favorite hot tool. Every time I use this bad gal I get tons of compliments on my  hair. This tool is a super cheap and cheerful way to add bodyful, beach waves in minutes.  

​It takes me about 10 minutes on medium heat to wave my whole head, and in my opinion my waves look even better the second day!  Check out the  tutorial below by Lauren Frances Hair on Youtube.  She breaks it down  and has some really great tips and tricks for DIY success with  the beach waver. I really dig her tutorials!

​Always remember to use a heat protectant on your hair before any heat styling!  These products are designed to prevent damage caused by frequent (or unfrequent) heat styling. And for the love of all things good, please(!) AVOID using the highest heat setting possible.

Big Sexy makes a weightless, zero-hold heat protectant cream that protects up to 450 degrees.  This does not mean you should crank up the heat on your irons and dryers people! Many serums and glosses out there have a heat protectant technology built into them, check your labels for details.
