Serious Volume!! Without "Root Boost" Product...

True Story. You can have serious volume without any volumizing products. Many of us are highly sensitive to on-the-scalp hair products that are designed to volumize at the root.

I picked this baby up on Amazon for 16 buckaroos ($16)!! 
Talk about cheap and cheerful, this thing  makes volume last for days, and it takes no time.  It's got 3 temperature settings (low, medium, high), and BONUS it's got an auto-off timer.

Set the temporature (low to medium should do), give it a minute to heat up,  take half inch sections at the crown just under your part line, squeeze crimper shut  or pulse it for 3 to 5 seconds close to the scalp without burning yourself!, and repeat.  Once you've completed the desired area, brush your root area to remove the crimp pattern. The texture will stay even after brushing it. This texture and volume should save you from having to shampoo as frequently too because your hair isn't laying flat to your scalp, absorbing oil.  

Please be careful not the burn yourself!!  Your hair can put off steam when heated with any hot tool, and  can definitely burn your scalp.  So be careful.
